Crabs at the Beach

I've been working on some baby blankets over the past few months. Besides having a lovely little baby of my own, my sister-in-law had twin boys, and my sister had a little boy. All three boys were born about two-three weeks before Evie--so there's a whole slew of cousins for us now! I thought it would be fun to make them all matching quilts. I call this quilt Crabs at the Beach.

It really wouldn't have taken too long to make one quilt--but four--that's a different story!

Here is Evie on her quilt. Of course she spit up all over it just after I took these two pictures!

This was my first attempt at free-motion machine quilting. I was very nervous to attempt it, but once I got the hang of it I loved it!
FYI--the crabs' eyes are buttons.
(Congratulations to JoAnne and Ashley! Sorry these were so late.)
