A kitchen full of sunshine!

I realize that it has been quite some time since I painted my kitchen, but I never took a picture. I guess I was waiting for that perfect moment when the decor was back on the walls, the house was spotless, I got curtain rods, adjusted my blinds, etc. I have concluded that such perfection may never be reached, so I'll take what I can get.

Unfortunately, I couldn't have picked a worse time to take the pictures. The windows face west, and it is 4:00 in the afternoon, so the lighting is a little strange. Oh well! I still need to hang my clock back up, adjust the length of my blinds, put a new floor in... (this could go on for a while!)

So, for the few of you who have actually seen my kitchen, I hope you agree it is an improvement. (It would have been difficult to make it worse than it already was!)

As for other news...

We are going to Grand Targhee tomorrow (A ski resort in the Tetons--Wyoming). Russ has a conference to attend, so the girls and I are joining him for a little vacation. (We take what we can get!) Obviously, I won't be able to ski, but I can take the girls sledding and enjoy the break from home! Russ will be busy most of the time, but he does get to ski for a little bit. Then we are going to Idaho for a quick visit before heading home. I'm sure we will tell you all about it!
