Miles per hour that is. That was my top speed on my ride this morning. I couldn't believe it either since I had to work hard to get my previous top speed of 46 mph. I was flying down a hill and noticed my speed was 37 mph with a drop off ahead of me so I pushed it hard and held on for dear life. Oh man, it was fun! Still don't believe me? The number on the bottom of my bike computer is my maximum speed.

This morning I did the same ride that Sarah did last week so I won't bore you with details. Its a 42 mile ride with long hills. I'm pooped. Here's some scenery from the ride.

Pryor Creek Area
Riding around Pryor Creek

This is a grizzly bear I saw today, but obviously not on the ride. As you'll see in the following photos, I took the girls to the zoo while Sarah and Evie went shopping. I think I got the better deal. We wanted to get the family pass before we go to Idaho Falls next week. With that pass we can go to our zoo anytime we want to, as well as any American Zoo Association park such as the Tautphaus Park Zoo. We're planning on going to the zoo next week while we are in Idaho Falls. Here are some of the animals we saw. The grizzly bear above is a new exibit and you are pretty far away from him, hence the bad picture. He was playing with the tractor tire while we were there, just flinging it around like it was nothing. Sydney misunderstood me and started looking for the "tiger" and asked if they lived together and shared the same room. I had no idea why she was talking about the bear and tiger until she got home and started asking Sarah the same thing. She thought the bear was playing with the
tiger.

This is one of the rarest tiger species, the Amur Tiger. There are thought to be only 150 left in the wild. The zoo just lost the other tiger this winter.
These are the new river otters, still babies. The girls had a blast chasing them around. I think the otters enjoyed themselves as well.
Lastly, the girl's only demand was that they get to play on the playground so when we were finished they had a few minutes to play before Sarah picked us up. Sydney is pretty proud of herself for being able to cross the monkey bars and has been talking about it since Grandma took them last month. If there was one thing we were doing at the zoo, she had to show me that she could cross the monkey bars.

Yeah Sydney! You are a very strong monkey. Good job!
Tara and Sydney, I can't wait to go to the zoo with you. We have otters, too, and I think a whole bunch of monkeys!
Oh, Tara loves monkeys. We might not get her out of the zoo.
