Update

Wow, not much to talk about lately. We've just been rolling with the punches for a bit. Nothing photo worthy and that's probably why I haven't posted. Anyway, Tara is doing fine and the swelling and discoloration are gone so she's back to her rambunctious self. We are trying to get ready for Christmas and I have most of the house decorated and lit up. I still want to decorate the trees and fence outside this weekend. Sarah and the girls got the 7' tree up this last week in our 7'-2" living room so it fills most of the room. We struggled with what to top the tree with last year since there was no room for a star so Sarah finally came up with a nice bow to top the tree.

In other news, I took test #4 of the ARE this week and think I did fairly well. I am anxious to get the tests out of the way so I scheduled #5 for next week and #6 for the first week in January. Wish me luck. I want to get them out of the way so I don't have to worry about it after the baby is born, plus I'll have some time to finally remodel the bathrooms and fix up a nursery. (And the raise and promotion will be nice, especially with all the medical costs we'll incur next year.)

Sarah had her second appointment last this week at 15 weeks and everything checked out OK. We have our first ultrasound scheduled for the end of January so we'll find out if we are having another "squirrel" or a boy then. (I might have to change the name of this blog :)

Russ, sounds like you guys are doing well. I didn't realize Sarah was pregnant; congratulations!

Good job on your tests too.

Okay - news flash - you didn't post (or call/email/write a letter) about expecting another baby so this is a shock (a good one). Congratulations! I am 19 weeks so our kids will be close in age (hopefully).

Russ,

Now I feel like a slug, I've taken an exam every 6 weeks at best, maybe if I spent my evenings studying instead of reading blogs. ;-). Congratulations on the baby, you should post the ultrasound and make everyone guess if it's a boy or a girl. Have a great Christmas! Aaron
